Brisbane – The railways public transportation system in England attempted to (not just) display luxury and super quick side but also a futuristic design in a train named “Mercury” with top speed 362km/h.

The Mercury train, as reported by news.com.au network, will be across the UK as part of a fast rail system of the country. According to the designer, Paul Priestman, the interior will be as luxurious as penthouse with a very comfortable sofa and complement with the soft furnishings.

The passenger seat will be equipped with computer screens that are connected with movies, music, and gaming entertainment system. Design also included special room to store a bicycle, equipped with a bar, and the second floor for passengers to look around and enjoy the view.

First-class passengers will get a facility such as a bar, while passengers who travel with the family can use a special private room. “We need to invite the public more often to travel by train to managed England to achieve a low carbon economy,” says Priestman.

He added, “To achieve this, travel by train should be equal fun as traveling by plane and as sexy as the latest new car. The train is not just to be quick, but also modern, luxurious, attractive and stylish.”

George Clooney will receive special award in the Emmy competition to be held on the next August 29 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Associated Press proclaims The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will give a “Bob Hope Humanitarian Award” to Clooney.

“Bob Hope Humanitarian Award” given to those who working in the telecommunications industry where their humanitarians work giving effect to the industry and their actions to give long effect to the public. Award name was taken from the name of the late actor Bob Hope.

Clooney received an award for a special television program “Hope for Haiti,” which also received an Emmy nomination.

The CD101 Andyman has passed away. It’s very sad news in Columbus. The program director, CD101 DJ, and former namesake/owner of the Treehouse and Columbus institution Andy “Andyman” Davis passed away.

For years, Davis was known for his Andyman-a-Thon in which he would spend 48 hours on the air for an annual Christmas holiday fundraiser. Davis would receive pledges to play song requests. The event expanded over the years with auctions and live rock shows.
