Jennifer Carpenter And Michael C Hall Is Over
Jennifer Leann Carpenter (born December 7, 1979) filed for divorce Thursday, three days after she and her husband and fellow “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall, announced they are divorcing. Read the papers here, in which Jennifer states they were separated weeks before they posed together at the Emmys.
The filing comes just shy of the couple’s two-year anniversary, which would have been December 31, but August 9, 2010 is listed as the date of separation. Despite being separated in early August, the two smiled as they posed together on the red carpet at the Emmys on August 29, when Hall was up for Best Actor in a Drama Series, and “Dexter” was nominated for Best Drama Series. Hall, 39, first earned famed for his role on the HBO series “Six Feet Under,” which concluded in 2005.
He won a best TV drama actor SAG award in January and thanked Carpenter during his acceptance speech. His win came while he was battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the lymph nodes. Carpenter, who turns 31 on Friday, said in April that Hall had “fully recovered.”
