Jennifer Leann Carpenter (born December 7, 1979) filed for divorce Thursday, three days after she and her husband and fellow “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall, announced they are divorcing. The filing comes just shy of the couple’s two-year anniversary, which would have been December 31, but August 9, 2010 is listed as the date of separation. Despite being separated in early August, the two smiled as they posed together on the red carpet at the Emmys on August 29, when Hall was up for Best Actor in a Drama Series, and “Dexter” was nominated for Best Drama Series. He won a best TV drama actor SAG award in January and thanked Carpenter during his acceptance speech. His win came while he was battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the lymph nodes. Carpenter, who turns 31 on Friday, said in April that Hall had “fully recovered.”

LOS ANGELES – Mel Gibson’s Lawyer blamed his client’s ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva had fabricated the story about Gibson’s horrible, because of the remorse to have signed a custody agreement.

Said Mel Gibson’s attorney, Stephen Kolodny told TMZ. Last Monday, it was revealed Oksana came to court and ask for court orders to stay Mel Gibson away from her and her eight months old child, Lucia.

A day later, Mel Gibson’s lawyer went to court and succeeded in changing the decision of the judge, Mel allowed near his child.

Kolodny said, with changes in the court order, the court rejected the argument that Oksana said that the child is in danger and renew their custody agreement over Lucia. “Oksana’s efforts to cut off Mel’s access for their child will continue,” says Kolodny.

Sources that close to Oksana revealed, Mel was a “very cruel” and could pose a threat to Oksana and her baby.

According to Kolodny create sensational news will not solve the problem of their custody. Resolutions can only be done in court.

Kolodny revealed some time ago they managed to get a good deal in custody. Mel Gibson was able to stay overnight and the infinite visit. This made Mel, has 50 percent custody of Lucia.
